Building a new community centre
Nationally recognised youth charity Wings South West is proposing to build a fantastic new community and enterprise centre in Bideford, on the Moreton Park site to the south of the town.
Wings envisage a centre with excellent sports facilities, alternative curriculum provision, enterprise academies, community activities for children, young people and adults, a multi-purpose building for a theatre, cinema and church, together with a shop and bistro. The plan has already gained early support from Devon County Council and a number of Torridge Councillors and Officers.
The proposals are at an early stage, and Wings are keen to get as much community input as possible in carrying the project forward. We want your ideas and your views.
